Raducanu managed to reach the third round at Flushing Meadows, where she famously secured the championship title as a teenage qualifier in 2021, only to later struggle with injuries and the pressures of sudden fame.
During this year’s tournament, Raducanu defeated Ena Shibahara and Janice Tjen before facing a quick defeat from world No. 10 Elena Rybakina in just 62 minutes in the third round.
