WhatsApp users are in for a treat with a slew of new features aimed at enhancing the messaging experience. The Meta-owned platform has rolled out updates to emojis, stickers, calls, and Channels, all available now.
The latest feature drop includes animated emojis, making chats more interactive with moving emojis. Additionally, there’s an animated sticker maker that turns videos into dynamic stickers, avatar social stickers for one-to-one chats, and an easier group creation process allowing users to start groups without immediately adding members.
On the calling front, WhatsApp now has a dedicated tab for new calls, call link sharing, and call history management, along with new filters and effects. Six new filters and six fun effects have been added for video calls and photos.
Another update introduces a separate tab for Status and Channels, distinct from personal chats. Photo polls on Channels now support adding photos to each poll option, users can star favorite updates for easy access, and mentioning groups in Status is now possible, notifying all group members.
These enhancements aim to elevate the user experience on WhatsApp, offering a more engaging and interactive platform for messaging and communication.
