Prince Harry and Meghan Return to U.K. Amid Family Drama

Date:

Prince Harry and Meghan have returned to the United Kingdom after residing in the United States for six years, according to reports from U.K. media. The surprise move back to Britain was confirmed by outlets such as the BBC and the Daily Telegraph, which noted their arrival at Birmingham International Airport around midday local time after a private charter flight from Van Nuys, California.

Their young children, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, are now enrolled in schools in the U.K. and are set to begin classes in September. The family is planning to reside in a private, nonroyal property outside of London, although the exact location has not been disclosed.

After stepping down from their royal duties and relocating to the U.S. to pursue deals with major entertainment platforms like Netflix and Spotify, Harry and Meghan faced challenges with the Royal Family. They spoke out about issues relating to Meghan’s mental health, as well as allegations of racism and media manipulation within the family.

Although Harry has expressed a desire for reconciliation, particularly to spend more time with his father, King Charles, who is undergoing cancer treatment, tensions persist with his brother, Prince William, who is next in line to the throne.
