A young man, aged 24, hailing from Cornwall, tragically passed away in Argentina due to a severe allergic reaction. Harry James Kitto lost his life on November 7 following a week-long struggle for survival. He peacefully departed with his family by his side, as mentioned by his loved ones who initiated a fundraiser to aid with medical expenses. The funds raised will now be utilized to bring Harry’s body back from Buenos Aires to Cornwall.
In a heartfelt message on the fundraising platform, which has amassed over £54,000, Harry’s family expressed, “Our beloved Harry Kitto fought bravely for his life in Buenos Aires, Argentina, after encountering a severe allergic reaction while traveling with his resilient girlfriend, Naomi.” They continued, “For more than a week, he displayed remarkable strength and resolve — qualities that have always made us immensely proud.”
Despite the relentless efforts of the medical team and Harry’s valiant battle, it was confirmed that he had suffered irreversible brain damage, leaving no options for recovery.
To contribute to Harry’s fundraiser, donations can be made online. Any surplus funds will be directed to supporting The Natasha Allergy Research Foundation, an organization that provided assistance to the family during Harry’s illness.
